Men’s Tennis Central: #19 Tennessee vs. #16 Michigan State

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The No. 19 Tennessee men's tennis team is primed for a showdown against No. 16 Michigan State on Friday at 5 p.m. ET at Goodfriend Tennis Center.
A live stream will be provided for fans here, and live stats will also be available here. Admission is free to fans, and tennis parking will be available on West Volunteer Boulevard and at the top of the CI7/NC7 garage located next to Barksdale Stadium.
LAST TIME OUT
This past weekend, the Vols served as one of 14 hosts during the 2025 ITA Kickoff Weekend. UT opened play with a 4-2 triumph over Illinois but fell in the Sunday match against No. 25 Michigan, 4-1.
SCOUTING MICHIGAN STATE
Michigan State has opened the indoor season on a strong note. The Spartans have jumped out to a 4-1 record, including a win over No. 7 Kentucky, while also reaching a team ranking of No. 16 nationally. Their lone loss was delivered by the reigning National Champions, No. 2 TCU.
Their squad features a mixture of both four ranked singles individuals and doubles pairs. No. 8 Ozan Baris recently made it to the final round of the NCAA Individual Championships this past November in Waco, Texas.
