Last season, the Vols and Lady Vols swept the men's and women's NCAA South Regional titles for the first time since 2002. It was the first region crown for the Lady Vols since 2005, while the men captured back-to-back region titles for the first time since 1994-95.
The women enter the regional meet led by four All-SEC performers in first-teamer Ashley Jones and third-team honorees Jillian Candelino, Caroline Lyerly and Rachel Sutliff. Andie-Marie Jones, Rebecca O'Keefe, Summer Schuster and Jaci Sievers round out the squad.
For the Vols, SEC All-Freshman Team member Hudson Betts alongside Christopher Middleton-Pearson lead the charge into Friday's meet. Brody Chapman, Yonas Haile, Zach Jaeger, Aaron Jones, Gabriel Sanchez and Pavel Vinduska will also represent the Orange & White.
