AUBURN, Ala. – The 19th-ranked Tennessee men's tennis team will take on Auburn on Saturday at 1 p.m. ET at Yarbrough Tennis Center.

LAST TIME OUT
Tennessee (14-5, 5-3 SEC) is coming off its fifth straight conference victory, defeating Alabama in Tuscaloosa on Thursday night. UT found early momentum thanks to a ranked win from No. 13 Alejandro Moreno and Alex Kotzen and a new doubles pairing from James Newton and Jose Garcia finding success on court three.
In singles play, the Vols collected victories from Ian Cruz, Kotzen and a clincher was provided from Moreno to move Tennessee past the Crimson Tide and continue the team's momentum.

Auburn (14-6, 5-4 SEC) is currently ranked at No. 27 in the ITA National Rankings. The Tigers are riding a four-match win streak heading into Saturday's tilt, earning a ranked win over No. 18 Oklahoma in the process.
Last year, Auburn tallied an 18-11 record in dual matches, including a 7-5 conference mark, eventually losing in the NCAA Second Round against No. 9 Arizona, 4-0. This season, the Tigers currently boast a ranked singles individual and one slotted doubles pair, as Alexander Frusina, Billy Blaydes and William Nolan have their names mentioned in the ITA National Rankings.
Overall, Tennessee is 45-18 versus Auburn and has won five of the last six matchups. Most recently the Vols took home a 6-1 victory in Knoxville during the 2024 dual season.
Alejandro Moreno is no stranger to Auburn, as the Knoxville native spent the first two seasons of his collegiate career on the Plains, where he went 33-26 in singles and 26-22 in doubles.
