Golfers Tied for Fourth in Greensboro

Tennessee is part of a three-way tie for fourth place after two rounds of the UNCG Bridgestone Golf Collegiate in Greensboro, N.C.
The Vols (570) shot even par 288 in Saturday's first round, before improving to 6-under-par 282 over the second 18 holes.
Robin Wingardh is in a seven-way tie for 10th individually after carding a 71-69--140. Freshman Jay Vandeventer also cracked the top 20 with his 2-under 142 (70-72).
Other scorers for Tennessee in both rounds were David Holmes (75-69) and Darren Renwick (72-72), both of whom are in a tie for 27th at even par 144. Justin Walker shot 77-75--152 and is tied for 69th.
Michigan (560) has a four-shot lead over Georgia Tech (564) for team honors and is nine clear of third-place Virginia (569). Augusta State (570) and Michigan State (570) are tied with Tennessee.
