The Tennessee Volunteers are fortunate to have playing privileges at three of the top clubs in Knoxville: Cherokee, Fox Den and Holston Hills country clubs.
Additionally, the Vols have their choice of several facilities within easy driving distance of the UT campus. All this and the new Mack & Jonnie Day Golf Practice Facility provide the best teaching and instructional experience in collegiate golf.

Founded in 1907, Cherokee Country Club has a long tradition of dedication to enriching the lives of its members and their families. Nestled on a bend in the Tennessee River with sweeping views of the Smoky Mountains, Cherokee Country Club is an unprecedented private club.
It features a breathtaking 18-hole Donald Ross golf course that just underwent a massive renovation. The course plays to a par of 70 at 6,472 yards from the championship tees.

Fox Den's 18-hole championship golf course, driving range, short-game range, and oversized putting green have been home to the Nationwide PGA tour event, The Knoxville News Sentinel Open, formerly known as The Knoxville Open, since 1999.
Many prominent winners have walked Fox Den's fairways, including 2006 Ryder Cup teammates Vaughn Taylor and J.J. Henry and tenured PGA Tour member Heath Slocum.

Holston Hills Country Club is as well-preserved of a Donald Ross course as can be found. Built in 1927, it immediately was recognized as the finest course in the state and retains its lofty status today.
Holston Hills recently was restored to its original design and Golf Digest ranks it 58th on the list of America's top classical courses.

Established on July 2, 1983, The Honors Course is a private golf club created to honor amateur golf. The course is located just north of Chattanooga in the community of Ooltewah.
In keeping with its philosophy, the course has hosted many amateur tournaments including the Tennessee Amateur Championship, USGA Men's Amateur and Mid-Amateur Championships, USGA Senior Women's Amateur Championships, the Curtis Cup Matches and the NCAA Division I Men's Championship.
