- Daughter of Penny and Buddy Yount, graduated from Dripping Springs High School in Texas
- Academic achievements include being named an AP Scholar with Honors and making Academic All-State
- She played soccer and ran cross country in high school along with being a member of the AP Physics Club
- Family ties to UT include: Both of her parents, all four of her grandparents, several of her aunts and uncles along with some of her cousins have received degrees from the University of Tennessee
- Her proudest athletic accomplishment is playing Premier League US Youth Soccer during her senior club season
