INTERNATIONAL
- Turned pro on June 16, 2017, forgoing his final year of eligibility at Tennessee to sign a seven-figure endorsement deal with Nike
- Became the only person on the men's side to qualify for Team USA at the 2017 World Championships in two events (100m/200m)
- Finished in second place in both the 100m (9.93/10.02/9.98) and 200m (20.34/20.18/20.10) dashes at the 2017 USATF Outdoor Championship
- Ran the second leg for Team USA in the 4x100m relay qualifying at the 2016 Rio Olympics as the team won their heat with a time of 37.65 and advanced to the final
- Earned a spot on Team USA in 2016 Rio Olympics in men's 4x100 relay
- Competed in 2016 men's U.S. Trials recording 9.96 (+2.4) in the first round, 9.95 (+1.7) in semifinals and 10.06 (+1.6) in the Final
- Recorded a PR and win legal in men's 100m at 2016 U.S. Trials running 9.95 (+1.7)
2017 TRACK AND FIELD
Indoor
- Won the 60m (6.45) and 200m (20.11) NCAA Indoor National Championships becoming only the third person to complete the double
- Coleman won the 60m dash by tying a collegiate record (6.45) while winning the race by a .09 second margin of victory, the largest margin of victory in NCAA Championship history and set a NCAA Indoor National Championship meet record. He also set facility and school records in the 60m, while tying for the top mark in the world during 2017.
- Posted the second-fastest 200m time in collegiate time in history as he finished in 20.11 and the fastest in the world this year and only trailed Wallace Spearmon's 2005 mark of 20.10. Also became the eighth male to win back-to-back titles in the 200m
- SEC Champion in the 60m and runner-up in the 200m as he posted times of 6.52 and 20.50 in the finals of the SEC Indoor Championship
- Moved into third place on Tennessee's all-time 200m list as he posted a time of 20.46 at the Tiger Paw Invitational
- Named USTFCCCA National Athlete of the Week after setting a personal best 60m dash time of 6.51 at the VT "Doc Hale" Elite Meet. That mark is the second fastest 60m time in school history and the best in the nation and the world during 2017.
- Notched the world's fastest 200m time of 2017 as he won the competition at the Razorback Invitational with a time of 20.49 in a race that featured nine of the top 19 times in the NCAA
- Recorded a Vanderbilt Multipurpose Facility record with a time of 6.54 in the finals of the 60m dash after posting a 6.56 mark in the prelims at the Commodore Invitational, the two fastest 60m times in the country in 2017
- Set a Gladstein Fieldhouse and meet record with a time of 20.86 in the 200m at the Indiana-Tennessee Dual
- Recorded the fourth fastest 300m time in school history while setting a Gladstein Fieldhouse building record with a mark of 33.26 to win the Hoosier Open.
- Ranks as the only person on all four collegiate sprinting top-10 lists and he is in the top two of all four: 60m (6.45, t-1st), 200m (20.11, 2nd), 100m (9.82, 1st) and 200m (19.85, 2nd)
- Joined #VFL Justin Gatlin (2002) as the only two people to ever complete the double-double of winning the indoor 60m and 200m national championships and the outdoor 100m and 200m national titles in one year
- Won the 100m dash in 10.04 (-2.1) seconds and the 200m dash in 20.25 (-3.1) seconds to become the 25th person to record the outdoor double
- Set the collegiate record in the 100m dash with a time of 9.82 (+1.3) in the semifinals of the NCAA Championship, a time that places him as the ninth-fastest person in world history and the fourth-fastest American ever
- Claimed the second-fastest 200m time in collegiate history with a run of 19.85 seconds to become the top qualifier at the NCAA East Prelims
- Recorded 100m times of 9.96 and 9.98 to set the Kentucky facility record and earn a spot as the top qualifier at the NCAA East Prelims
- Won the 100m and 200m SEC Championships by becoming the first collegian to ever record wind-legal times under 10 seconds (9.97) in the 100m and a 200m time under 20 seconds (19.98)
- Posted the top 100m time in the country in 2017 with a mark of 9.93 (+3.2) as he won the competition at the SEC Relays
- Won the 100m and 200m dashes at the USC Open posting times of 10.30 and 20.28 despite running into a headwind for both races
- Opened the outdoor season with a time of 10.03 (-0.8) at the Tennessee Relays as he recorded the top wind-legal time in the country and fifth-fastest in the world in 2017
2016 TRACK AND FIELD
Indoor
- Part of Tennessee's 4x400 meter relay team that placed fifth at the NCAA Championships while recording the second fastest time in program history (3:06.29)
- Won the NCAA Indoor Championship in the 200 meters with a time of 20.55
- Recorded the second fastest 60-meter time in program history (6.52) while placing third at the NCAA Championships
- Also ran in the men's 4x400mR at the SEC Championships, helping Tennessee to a second place finish in a time of 3:07.07
- Finished as runner-up in the 200 meters at the SEC Championships with a personal best time of 20.54, the fourth fastest 200-meter time in program history and fastest since Rubin Williams ran a 20.36 in 2008
- Captured the 60-meter title at the SEC Championships with a time of 6.56
- Recorded a then-personal best time of 20.59 to win the 200 meters in the Tyson Invitational on Feb. 13
- Won the 60-meter title at the Tyson Invitational with a time of 6.55
- Won back-to-back 60 meter-races at the Virginia Tech Invitational on Jan. 15 with a time of 6.56, and then on Feb. 5 at the VT "Doc Hale" Elite Meet with a time of 6.54
- Won both the 60-meter (6.68) and 200-meter races (21.04) at the Indiana-Tennessee Dual on Jan. 9
- Recorded the eighth fastest 300-meter time in program history (33.68) on Dec. 11 at the Hoosier Open
- Finished second at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in the 100 meter dash with a finals time of 10.23
- Set a Tennessee record in the 100 meter dash with a time of 10.03 in the NCAA Championship Prelims

2015 TRACK AND FIELD
Indoor
- Earned first team All-America honors in the men's 60-meter dash after placing sixth in the event with a 6.62 at the 2015 NCAA Indoor Championships
- Became the first UT athlete to score at the NCAAs in the men's 60 meters since Rubin Williams in 2008 and is the first freshman to score in the event at nationals since Justin Gatlin in 2001
- Named SEC Men's Freshman Runner of the Year
- Became Tennessee's first sprinter to medal in the 60 meters at the SEC Indoor Championships since 2008 when his time of 6.62 earned him a third-place finish
- Finished seventh in the men's 200 meters in a time of 21.11. Advanced from the prelims with a time of 21.19.
- Also ran in the men's 4x400mR at the SEC Championships, helping Team UT finish eighth (3:13.13)
- Earned SEC Men's Runner of the Week and SEC Men's Freshman of the Week on Feb. 10 following his win in the 60-meter dash at the VT Elite Meet (6.58)
- Won the 60-meter dash at the Doc Hale VT Elite Meet in a PR time of 6.58
- Placed fifth in 60m at the Hokie Invitational (21.62). Contributed to 4x400m relay team that placed third (3:05.08)
- Earned his first collegiate win at the Auburn Invitational on Jan. 17, finishing first in the 60 meter dash (6.62)
- Earned the SEC Men's Freshman of the Week award on Jan. 20 after finishing first in the 60m and fifth in the 200m (21.39) at the Auburn Invitational
- Recorded a new personal best in the 200 meters (21.08) at the Tyson Invitational on Feb. 14
- Concluded his season at the NCAA Outdoor Championships, placing 15th in the both the 100-meter dash (10.19) and the 200-meter dash (20.61). He was named a second team All-American in both events
- Qualified for the NCAA Championships in both the 100 and 200-meter dash at the NCAA East Preliminary Round in Jacksonville
- Recorded a new PR in the 200-meter dash at the NCAA East Prelim, running a 20.61 in the quarterfinal.
- Quarterfinal time of 10.33 gave him a sixth-place finish and a berth to nationals in the 100-meter dash at the NCAA East Prelim
- Placed fifth in the Florida Relays and set a new personal record with a time of 10.22 in the 100-meter dash on April 3
- Competed in the long jump at the Tennessee Relays, placing 5th with a leap of 23-11.00 (7.29)
- Posted a new career-best time of 20.73 to finish second in the 200-meter dash invitational at the Tennessee Relays
- Placed second in the 100m (10.35) and third in the 200m (20.99) at the War Eagle Invitational
- Helped an all-freshmen Tennessee team finish fourth place in the SMR at the Penn Relays (3:24.65)
- Placed runner-up in both the 100m (10.37) and 200m (20.94) at the Tennessee Challenge to close the regular season
- Ran the anchor leg of UT's best 4x400-meter relay performance of the season, helping the Vols to a 9th-place finish in a time of 3:12.44 at the SEC Championships
- Placed 7th in the 100m at his first SEC Outdoor Championships in a time of 10.23 after qualifying for the finals with a wind-aided 10.19
PRIOR TO TENNESSEE
- All-USA in 100m with time of 10.30 seconds (1st in GA, 5th Nationally) at New Balance Outdoor Nationals
- Fifth in 200m at New Balance Outdoor Nationals finishing in 20.94 seconds (1st in GA, 11th Nationally)
- Led Our Lady of Mercy to runner-up spot in the Georgia 1A-Private State Championship
- Won the 100m, 200m, long jump, and anchored his 4x100m team to victory at State Championship
- Set Georgia Class A state records in three events during his senior year: 100m (10.38), 200m (21.10), and the 4x100m relay (41.88)
- Mercy Track named an award in his honor following his senior year: The Christian Coleman Champions Award
- Also played football at Mercy where he was an all-state, all-region, and all-county defensive back and wide receiver
- Already no stranger to success at Tom Black Track as he won an AAU National Championship in the long jump in 2007 there as an 11-year old

- Has two sisters, Camryn, a former sprinter/jumper at Georgia Southern, and Cailyn
- Cousin Derrick Barker, Jr. was an All-Ivy League defensive back at Harvard and another cousin, Brian Anderson, was a two-year starter and four-year letter-winner as a defensive back at Colgate
