2017 TRACK AND FIELD
Indoor
- Competed in his first heptathlon as he finished 11th with 4447 points at the Razorback Invitational
- Scored a point for the Vols in his first collegiate race as he took third place in the 60m Hurdles with a time of 8.53 at the Indiana-Tennessee Dual
- Posted a new personal best in the 110m hurdles with a time of 14.86 seconds at the Tennessee Challenge
- Took third place in the 110m Hurdles with a wind-aided time of 15.41 at the Tennessee Rust Buster while also competing in the 200m and long jump
PERSONAL
- Charles Christian Sholl, son of Lesley and Shaun Sholl, was born on October 20, 1997
- Has two older siblings named Ben and Alexis
- Majoring in Kinesiology
- Spent two seasons as a captain on the track and field team
- Also ran cross country and played tennis in high school
- Won the Tennessee High School State Decathlon Championship in 2015 and 2016
- Posted a top decathlon score of 6518 and career bests of 10.86 (100m), 1420 (110m Hurdles) and 21.69 (200m)
- TSSAA State Champion in the 110m hurdles in 2015
- Selected as an All-State honoree six times in high school
- Looks up to Ashton Eaton due to his work ethic
