SPRING SEASON
- In third season for the Vols, played No. 2 singles and No. 1 doubles with Jack Schipanski and Timo Stodder.
- Scored three ranked singles victories during the season, including a 7-6, 4-6, 7-5 win over No. 47 Gabriel Friedrich of South Carolina
- Toppled the top-ranked doubles team against Wake Forest with partner Jack Schipanski
- Clinched the match against North Florida with a 6-4, 7-5 victory over Jefta Kecic on court 2
- Schipanski and Valero lost their opening-round match at the USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships.
- Defeated Kentucky's Beck Pennington and Enzo Wallart 3-6, 6-4, [10-4] with Jack Schipanski to win the ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championships on Monday
- Reached round of 16 at the ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championships
- Valero and Schipanski opened the doubles tournament with a victory Thursday at the ITA All-American Championships
- Advanced to the third round of doubles with Jack Schipanski with a 6-3 victory over Elon's Felipe Sarrasague and Mario Paccini at the Southern Intercollegiate Championships

SPRING SEASON
- Earned All-SEC honors for the first time in his career after stepping up to No. 1 singles and doubles.
- He went a combined 5-0 opening weekend, playing No. 2 singles and No. 1 doubles with Jack Schipanski. He also won at No. 3 doubles with Marshall Sullivan against Mercer.
- Remained in the top half of the lineup, playing No.3 Singles and earning a 6-3, 6-3 win against Duke.
- After defeating Duke and a No. 25 ranked doubles team against Wake Forest, he went a combined 2-0 this weekend, playing No. 1 doubles with Jack Schipanski.
- Helped clinch the doubles point against Ole Miss by defeating No. 54 Babic/Kraljevic 6-3 with Jack Schipanski.
- Defeated No.34 Wayne Montgomery from Georgia 1-6, 6-4, [10-3].
- Avenged an earlier loss by defeating Auburn's Marko Krickovic, helping the Vols to a 4-3 victory over the Tigers to start the SEC tournament.
- Made his NCAA doubles tournament debut with Jack Schipanski, reaching the second round. It was the first national tournament for both players.
- Reached a career-high ranking of No. 67 in singles and No. 15 in doubles during the season.
- Finished with 10 singles wins and nine doubles wins during the fall season, one of three Vols to log 10+ fall wins (Igor Smelyanski - 15; Preston Touliatos - 11).
- Won seven of his final nine singles matches of the fall, reaching the quarterfinals of the USTA/ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championships and the semifinals of the SEC Fall Classic.
- Teamed up again with Jack Schipanski to go 6-1 during the fall. They defeated teammates Igor Smelyanski and Preston Touliatos to win the SEC Fall Classic, Valero's first career title. Valero and Schipanski, who played No. 3 doubles for the Vols last year, also beat 12th-ranked Orkin and Lipman of Florida 8-4 en route to the title.
- Accepted a wild card entry into the Knoxville Challenger, winning the first set over world junior No. 2 Frances Tiafoe before losing 3-6, 6-1, 6-3.

2015 SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll SPRING SEASON
- Started in the middle of the Vols' lineup to open the spring, going 3-1 in the first two weekends.
- Teamed up with fellow freshman Igor Smelyanski in doubles, going 3-1 the first two weekends on court 2.
- Provided stability at the No. 4 position in the singles lineup, going 5-4 in SEC play.
- Earned two ranked wins in conference play, beating No. 113 Andrew Schafer of South Carolina and No. 122 Tassilo Schmid of Mississippi State.
- Biggest win for Valero came in the second round of the SEC Tournament. As the final match on court the final hour of play, he rallied from a break down to beat Stuart Kenyon 6-7, 6-4, 7-5 to clinch the Vols' 4-3 victory over Alabama.
- Teamed up with Jack Schipanski early in SEC play and the two went 6-3 on court 3.
- Ended the season with 18 wins, the second-most on the team.
- Won his career debut over Johan den Toom (Arkansas), 6-4, 6-2 in the opening round of the Southern Intercollegiate Championships
- Reached the consolation semifinals of the SEC Fall Classic
- Advanced to the round of 16 at the USTA/ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championships, beating ETSU's No. 1 player, David Biosca, along the way
PRIOR TO TENNESSEE
- Achieved career-high ITF world junior ranking of No. 71
- Won nine ITF junior titles (four singles titles, five doubles titles)
- Represented Colombia at the 2014 Youth Olympic Games shortly before starting school at UT
