- Has a twin brother Ben, who is four minutes older
- Brother, Ben, was an All-American relief pitcher for UT in 2022 and was drafted in the third round of the 2022 MLB Draft by the Los Angeles Angels. Ben’s fastball was clocked at 105.5 mph during the 2022 season, believed to be the fastest pitch thrown in college baseball history
- Was born and raised in Knoxville and grew up rooting for Tennessee
