#13/14 Vols Remain in Lead After 36 Holes at Visit Knoxville Collegiate

LOUDON, Tenn. - The No. 13/14 Tennessee men's golf team remains in the lead after two rounds of the Visit Knoxville Collegiate at Tennessee National Golf Club.
UT shot 5-under on Saturday and are 20-under overall. The Vols sit with a six-shot lead against Georgia Tech.
Bruce Murphy led the way for the Big Orange in round two after carding a 3-under 67. Murphy currently sits tied for the individual lead at 7-under through 36 holes.
Josh Hill also sits inside the top five and is 4-under overall through two rounds. Hill posted a bogey-free 69 on Saturday.
Christian Pardue, who is competing individually, is tied with Hill after 36 holes of play. Pardue shot 2-under in round two.
Lance Simpson, Jackson Herrington and Reed Lotter are both tied for ninth place as they enter the final round.
Simpson shot a 71 on Saturday as Herrington was in red numbers on day two with a 68.
Lotter, who is competing individually, went low on Sunday, firing a 4-under 66.
Chase Kyes, the final member of the Vols' lineup, logged a 74 in round two and sits tied for 25th.
Luke Smith, the final individual, improved upon his round one score ang notched a 69. He is currently tied for 55th.
