FURMAN, S.C. –The Tennessee women's tennis team wrapped up the opening day of their fall season on Friday at the Furman Invitational.

The Lady Vols got the morning started with a pair of doubles wins from Ariadna Riley and Callie Creath. The pair won their first match 8-2 and their second match 8-4.

The duo of Kylie Duckworth and Lyric Bonilla won their second doubles match of the day with a score of 8-7 after falling in their opening match 8-3.

Individually, Kaitlin Staines won her opening match 0-6,7-6,6-2 in the singles flight three. Johanna Silva registered a 2-6, 6-3, 6-3 win to start her individual campaign. Tenika McGiffin won her season-debut by a score of 4-6, 7-6, 6-2.

The Lady Vols will be back in action tomorrow at 9 a.m. ET.
