- Won three singles matches – two at the June Stewart Invitational
- Opened the season with four-straight doubles wins with partner Callie Creath
- Won one doubles match with partner Rebeka Mertena
- Opened season in the ITA Kickoff Weekend
- Earned a quick 6-2, 6-2 win over Ole Miss' Kelsey Mize on court six.
- Collected her 80th-career win over South Carolina's Elise Mills.
- Downed Florida's Sydney Berlin in a three set-bout to clinch match point.
- Easily beat Amanda Meyer of Vanderbilt 7-5, 6-0 on court six.
- Downed Arkansas' Jackie Carr on court six to clinch match point.
- Defeated Missouri's Marta Oliveria on court six to pick up UT's first singles point.
- Earned a straight-set singles win on her senior day against Alabama.
- Picked up a straight-set win against Texas A&M to close out the regular season.
- Defeated LSU's Nina Geissler in straight sets in the SEC Tournament.
- Closed out her career with her 88th career win over Virginia's Sofia Munera.
2019-20 - SENIOR

FALL SEASON
- Went 4-2 in singles play during the fall.
- Won her singles flight at the Debbie Southern Fall Classic to open the year 3-0.
- Earned a ranked win over No. 125 Megan Davis of South Carolina in straight sets, 6-1, 6-1, at the USTA Fall Ranked Spotlight.
- Went 9-2 in singles dual-match play. Opened the spring with a six-match singles winning streak.
- Won both of her singles and doubles matches to open 2020 in UT’s doubleheader against North Alabama. She won both of her singles matches on court one and her doubles matches were won on courts one and three.
- Went undefeated at the Michigan Invitational, posting a 3-0 mark in singles and winning her lone doubles match with partner Julie Ball.
- Defeated Kansas’ Carmen Roxana Manu in straight sets to mark her season-long sixth-consecutive singles victory.
- Downed Purdue’s Zala Dovnik 7-5, 6-2 on court for in West Lafayette.
- Partnered with Rebeka Mertena to down Staiculescu/Bernard on court two to help UT secure the doubles point. On court four, she defeated Jelly Bozovic 6-2, 6-1 to clinch the match.
- Went undefeated in UT’s Valentine’s Day doubleheader. With Partner Hadley Doyle, she defeated UT Martin’s Albersmeier/Streif and Marquette’s Desmarais/Turconi to help UT earn the doubles point in both duals. Defeated UT Martin’s Jule Streif on court three to clinch the dual. Downed Marquette’s Natalija Popovic in straight sets.
- Won a singles and doubles match in UT’s final doubleheader of 2020. Earned a doubles victory with Rebeka Mertena over Cincinnati’s Niehaus/Philp 6-2 on court two. Downed UT Chattanooga’s Polina Goloputova to earn her fifth-straight singles win from 2/7/20-2/21/20.
- Downed Ole Miss’ Tereza Janatova in a three-set bout to give UT their third point in the Vols’ come-from-behind victory to end the season.
2018-19 - JUNIOR
Singles Record: 24-8Doubles Record: 20-8
FALL SEASON
- Posted an undefeated 3-0 record in singles at the Notre Dame Invitational, finishing the fall season with an 8-1 singles mark.
- Went 3-0 in singles at the Tennessee Fall Invite, as well as claiming a doubles victory.
- Advanced to the quarterfinals in doubles at the ITA Ohio Valley Regional (partnered with Tenika McGiffin) as well as registering two singles wins.
- In the second round of the NCAA Tournament against NC State, defeated Adriana Reami and Claudia Wiktorin in doubles, 6-4.
- In the NCAA Tournament Round of 64, defeated Furman's Madison Dillon in two sets, 6-3, 6-3, to improve to 4-0 in singles in career NCAA Tournament competition.
- Clinched the doubles point for the Lady Vols against No. 39 Alabama, partnering with Rebeka Mertena to defeat Moka Ito and Luca Fabian, 6-3.
- Clinched Tennessee's 4-2 win over Auburn with a comeback, three-set victory over Taylor Russo, 4-6, 6-0, 7-5
- Clinched the doubles point for the Lady Vols against Ole Miss by defeating Tereza Janatova and Cameron Kriscunas at No. 3 doubles, 6-1.
- Registered Tennessee's first doubles win against Mississippi State, defeating Sara Lizariturry and Janina Braun, 6-1.
- Helped Tennessee clinch the doubles point against Florida by defeating Marlee Zein and Anastasia Kharitonov at the No. 3 doubles spot, 6-3.
- Defeated Texas A&M's Tatiana Makarova, 6-2, 6-3, at the No. 3 singles spot during Tennessee's win over the No. 21 Aggies. Also clinched the doubles point for Tennessee with a 7-6 (0) win over Riley McQuaid and Lucia Quiterio.
- Captured a win on singles and doubles against Purdue. At the No. 3 singles spot, defeated Seira Shimizu in three sets, 6-1, 5-7, 6-2. At the No. 3 doubles spot, partnered with Rebeka Mertena to beat Zala Dovnik and Ivana Babic, 6-2.
- Registered a win over South Florida's Vanja Klaric at the No. 3 singles spot, 6-4, 6-4 to help Tennessee defeated the Bulls.
- Defeated Indiana's Caitlin Bernard, 6-0, 6-1 for Tennessee's first singles win of the match.
- Posted two singles wins over Old Dominion's Yulia Starodubtseva (3-6, 6-1, 6-4) at the No. 4 singles spot and Presbyterian's Samantha Calais (6-0, 6-1) at the No. 3 singles spot.
2017-18 - SOPHOMORE

FALL SEASON
- Downed Mississippi State's Sara Lizaturry, 4-6, 7-5, 6-1, to finish third in the Flight 5 singles draw at the Debbie Southern Fall Classic. Also edged out Petra Hule of Florida State in three sets, 6-7, 7-5, 6-2, in the first round.
- Earned doubles wins over ETSU's Chi Ma and Esguerra, 8-3, as well as Eastern Kentucky's Lagoda and Demcenkova, 8-6, to advance to the round of 16 in the ITA Ohio Valley Regional with Tenika McGiffin
- Rallied past Cincinnati's Antonella Bramato, 6-2, 3-6, 6-2, and Karoline Haller of Wright State, 4-6, 6-1, 6-2, to advance to the round of 32 in the Ohio Valley Regional
- Capped off the fall with a win over Wake Forest's Courtney Meredith, 6-4, 6-3, in the Tennessee Fall Invite
- Posted a 20-11 record in singles on the season to finish second on the team in total wins
- Finished the season with 23 sets where she held her opponent to two games or less in the set, winning 16 of those matches
- Clinched six matches for the Lady Vols during the spring season, including UT's wins over No. 15 Auburn and Alabama
- Won a career-high six consecutive matches to begin the spring, including clinching matches with victories over ETSU's Melissa Esguerra, 6-3, 6-2, and UT Martin's Jule Streif, 6-0, 6-3
- Helped UT to a pair of wins over Georgia State and Florida Gulf Coast, taking matches against Damira Muminovic, 6-0, 6-2, and Madison Gallegos, 7-5, 6-1, in singles and a 7-5 win against FGCU's Ascúa/Ornberg to clinch doubles on Court 1 with Gabby Schuck
- Scored the first point against Florida by a Tennessee player since 2010, defeating Katie Kubicz 6-4, 6-4 on Court 6
- Picked up her 20th win of the season in singles with a 6-4, 6-2 victory on Court 6 over Oregon's Paiton Wagner in the first round of the NCAA Tournament
- Sealed UT's win over Lipscomb with a 6-1, 6-1 victory over Thabile Tshatedi
- Won four straight matches against SEC foes, beating Auburn's Georgia Axon, 6-3, 7-6 (1), Alabama's Kylie Moulin, 4-6, 6-2, 6-3, Arkansas' Agne Cepelyte, 6-4, 6-1, and Alabama's Moulin again in the SEC Tournament, 6-2, 3-6, 7-5
- Defeated Oregon's Paiton Wagner in straight sets in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament.
2016-17 - FRESHMAN

FALL SEASON
- Won her first collegiate singles match at the Furman Fall Classic, defeating Wake Forest’s Samantha Asch, 6-4, 3-6, 6-2
- Went 2-1 in singles on the weekend at the Indiana Regional, taking matches against Northwestern’s Nina Van Oost, 6-0, 7-5, and Marquette’s Fleur Eggink, 7-5, 4-6, 1-0 (13)
- Claimed a pair of wins in doubles with fellow freshman Ariadna Riley at the IU Regional, beating Indiana’s Bernard and Whalen, 8-7, and WMU's Azcui and Eristavi, 8-4
- Helped UT earn ranked wins against No. 14 Kansas, No. 19 LSU, No. 33 UNLV, No. 46 Alabama and No. 46 Missouri, clinching four of the five matches for the Volunteers
- Went on a five-match winning streak to conclude UT’s non-conference slate, during which the Vols went 5-0
- Enjoyed a strong weekend to close out the non-conference schedule by helping UT defeat ranked foes No. 14 Kansas and No. 33 UNLV, picking up victories over Janet Koch, 6-1, 6-2, and Paola Artiga, 6-2, 6-3
- Played a significant role in UT's 4-3 win over No. 46 Alabama, contributing to the Vols taking the doubles point with a 6-1 over Valero and Daniell as well as downing Maddie Pothoff, 7-6 (6), 6-1, in singles. Both wins on the day marked her first career conference victories.
- Clinched the doubles point against Alabama in the first round of the SEC Tournament, downing Spielmann and Hinton, 7-6 (6)
- Won both her singles matches during the NCAA Tournament, breezing past Winthrop's Megan Kauffman, 6-3, 6-2, and Duke's Alyssa Smith, 6-3, 6-1
PRIOR TO TENNESSEE
- Was No. 60 in women's tennis rankings for Germany and was in the Top-10 for her age group
- Helped lead her team to win the North German Championships

- Johanna Silva, daughter of Christina and Jagath de Silva, was born on November 15, 1997
- Has five siblings (4 sisters and 1 brother), whose names are Anna, Jenny, Lina, Larissa and Robin
- Models her game after Serena Williams and Roger Federer
- Her hobbies outside of tennis include skateboarding, listening to music, reading and watching films
