AT PACE (2011-12)
- Played the 2011 and 2012 seasons at Pace University in Pleasantville, N.Y.
- Appeared in 62 matches, including starting at setter in all 35 of her sophomore season
- Led the Pace Setters with 1,167 assists for an average of 8.91 helpers per set in 2012 - a mark that ranked ninth in the Northeast-10 Conference
- Helped Pace rank second in the NE-10 in assists (11.27) and kills per set (12.15) in 2012
- Played an integral role in the Setters[apos] 2011 NCAA Tournament run
- Added 306 digs, 109 kills, 48 blocks and 25 aces during her career at Pace
- Was a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC)
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB
- Four-year letterwinner and senior captain at Lake Region High School in Eagle Lake, Fla.
- Named Second Team All-County as a senior with the Thunder
- Two-time MVP of the Triple Crown Big South Tournament
- Member of the National Honor Society and ranked 15th in her graduating class
- Played club volleyball for the Southern Select Volleyball Club, which ranked in the top five in Florida
- Also played in multiple beach tournaments on the Florida Coasts
PERSONAL
- Majoring in biology with a minor in mathematics
- Lists transferring to Tennessee as the biggest thrill of her sports career
- Chose to attend Tennessee because of the great medical and volleyball programs
- Aspires to continue her education at medical school and eventually become a dermatologist
- Lists hobbies outside of indoor volleyball as beach volleyball, hunting, fishing, boating and coaching
- Has two younger sisters, Kendale (18), who plays volleyball at Stetson University, and Madison (16)
- Brooke Ashley Speyerer, the daughter of David and Carol Speyerer, was born Nov. 18, 1992, in Winter Haven, Fla.
