DUAL MEET RECAP
- In his first race of the season at UNCW, Miller earned a third-place finish in the 1000-yard freestyle (9:37.07).
- Miller also earned a second place finish at UNCW, thanks to a 1:55.51 time in the 200-yard butterfly.
- Earned a pair of top-four finishes at Queens: a 3rd-place finish in the 200-yard butterfly (1:55.92) and a 4th-place in the 1000-yard freestyle (9:23.22)
- Swam in his first 500-yard freestyle competition of the season, posting a 4:40.67 time at UNC--good for 6th place
- Matched his sixth place finish in the 500-yard freestyle against IU and UK, but shaved off almost seven seconds (4:33.91) from his previous season-best time
- Earned a NCAA b-cut final in the 1650 Free at the NIKE Cup, swimming a season-best 15:15.89 in a fifth-place effort
SEC RECAP
- Competed in three events, placing 24th in the 1650 freestyle (15:33.21), 28th in the 400 IM (3:54.37) and 50th in the 500 freestyle (4:31.70).

DUAL MEET RECAP
- Emerged early as one of the Vols' top distance swimmers as a freshman, primarily swimming the 500 and 1650 freestyle events while also seeing some time at 200 butterfly
- Won first career races against UNC Wilmington: 1000-yard freestyle (9:42.85) and 500 freestyle (4:40.51)
- Placed second in the 500 freestyle and third in the 1650 freestyle against Louisville
- Swam a career best in the 500 freestyle against Ohio State (4:33.13), good for second place
- Earned six career bests at UT Invite. Placed 3rd in 500 free (4:35.31), 2nd in 1650 free (15:45.63) and 2nd in 200 butterfly (1:51.28)
- Recorded his top 1650 free time to wrap up his season, touching the wall in 15:15.21, the eighth best time in program history
SEC RECAP
- Scored for the Vols in one of his three individual races in his first conference meet
- Placed 15th in the 1650 freestyle in 15:19.30, an NCAA B cut time
- Posted career bests in his other two events, finishing 28th in both the 500 freestyle (4:24.87) and 200 butterfly (1:49.45).
PRIOR TO TENNESSEE
- Swam at Middle Creek High School for four years
- Three-year All-American in swimming (2009, 2010, 2011) while at Middle Creek
- Named his team's MVP in 2010 and 2012, having won the most points on his team
- Was named all-state in 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011
- On the club level, competed for the Marlins of Raleigh, where he served one year as captain
- Worked at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs in the spring 2012
- Marlins of Raleigh won the North Carolina Senior Championships in 2012.
