BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- For the second time to begin the season, three Tennessee student-athletes have earned SEC weekly honors. Camille Spink was named the SEC Female Swimmer of the Week, while Charlotte Crush and Drew Eubanks each received SEC Freshman of the Week honors for the second time this year.
For Spink, this is the fourth time in her career that she has received swimmer of the week honors. The senior contributed to four victories in Tennessee's final match of the College Swimming League. Spink captured individual wins in both the 50 and 100 free. Spink swam the leadoff leg in the 200 free relay, as Tennessee would get the win in the Skins event. This season, Spink leads the country in both the 50 (20.95) and 100 (45.91) free events. The Haymarket, Virginia, native is the only female swimmer this year that has gone sub-21 seconds in the 50 free and sub-46 seconds in the 100 free.
Crush continued her outstanding start to her collegiate career. Crush finished first in the 200 back, breaking her own school record she set in her first meet with a time of 1:48.31.
