2015-16 - SENIOR
SEC RECAP
- Placed fourth in the 200 IM, breaking the school record in 1:56.12
- Took fifth in the 400 IM in 4:08.59 after swimming 4:07.68 in the prelims.
- Also broke the school record in the 200 backstroke, finishing 10th overall and second in the B final in 1:53.93.
2014-15 - JUNIOR
DUAL MEET RECAP
- Opened up her junior year with a victory in the 200 backstroke, clocking in first place with a time of 2:00.63 at UNCW
- Earned her first solo victory of the season by clocking in at 4:59.98 in the 500-yard freestyle at Queens
- Swam the opening leg (26.30) of the 200-yard medley relay to spark UT's B relay team to win the event against IU and UK...UT also earned second place in the event
- Won the 200 IM in 1:58.74 at Nike Cup, which placed her fourth in Tennessee history in the event
- Finished in second in the 400 IM (4:14.53) at Nike Cup behind teammate Lauren Driscoll
- Swam a 51.00 in her 100 Free split to help UT's relay team win the 400 Free Relay at Texas A&M
- In 1:58.32, Carner finished second in the 200 Backstroke at LSU, matching her time set against Auburn and Louisville
SEC RECAP
- Won the gold medal in the 400 medley relay with Molly Hannis, Harper Bruens and Faith Johnson
- Finished the 800 freestyle relay in ninth place with Mary Griffith, Caroline Finkbeiner and Lauren Driscoll
- Finished fourth in the 400 IM championship final (4:07.27)
- Finished sixth in the 200 IM championship final (1:57.65)
- Placed tenth in the 200 Back--2nd in consolation final--in 1:54.98

- Ended her junior season No. 1 in UT history in the 400 IM, tied for No. 1 in the 200 Back No. 2 in the 200 IM and No. 3 in the 100 Back
2013-14 - SOPHOMORE
DUAL MEET RECAP
- Competed in six different events during the fall semester and participated in all five of UT's meets
- Recorded a pair of career bests during the fall season, in the 100 back (57.49, Georgia Tech Invite) and the 100 fly (1:00.35, UNC Wilmington)
- Swam both fall bests in her individual medley races to wrap up the semester at the Georgia Tech Invitational. She went 2:05.21 in the 200 IM and 4:23.02 in the 400 IM.
- Clocked first NCAA B-cut times of the season at the AT&T Winter National Championships in Knoxville. Swam 2:01.09 in the 200 IM (16th in finals) and 4:15.66 in the 400 IM (8th)
- Posted career best times in 100 backstroke (56.86), 100 breast (1:09.46), and 200 breast (2:27.95) in meet with Virginia Tech and Missouri, where she also placed 3rd in 200 IM (2:05.16)
- Placed 5th in 200 backstroke (1:59.36) and 1st in 400 IM, posting an NCAA B-Cut time of 4:19.04
SEC RECAP
- Swam a career high and NCAA B-cut time in the preliminaries of the 200-yard IM and finished in fifth place in the B final with a time of 1:59.34
- Placed second in the B final for the 400-yard IM with a 4:11.52 time, just half a second off her career time
NCAA REACAP
- Swam the 200 IM in 1:58.81
- Swam the 400 IM in 4:12.39
- Finished 20th in the 200 backstroke.
2012-13 - FRESHMAN
DUAL MEET RECAP
- Won a race in her first collegiate meet, taking the 200 backstroke (2:02.93) in the meet at UNC Wilmington
- Recorded three top-four finishes in the Lady Vols' win over Louisville, taking second in the 1650 free in 17:00.43
- Swam a career best in the 1000 freestyle (10:11.31)
- Finished out her first semester as a Lady Vol by setting four personal bests in the Tennessee Invitational. Meet was highlighted by a third-place finish in the 400 IM (4:21.59) and fourth place in the 500 freestyle (4:57.89)
- Set personal best in the 1000 freestyle in the Florida meet (10:07.65)
- Helped improve her NCAA standing in the 200 backstroke, touching the wall in 1:55.88 at the Last Chance Meet
SEC RECAP
- The Lady Vols' IM leader placed in all three of her individual events: the 200 IM, the 400 IM and the 200 backstroke
- Her best finish came in the 400, where she ended in 11th place
- Created two new career best times in the 200 IM (1:59.52) and the 400 IM (4:11.10)
- Took 12th in the 200 backstroke in 1:55.94, an NCAA B cut time
NCAA RECAP
- Improved her previous best time in the 200 back to 1:55.57, good for 33rd place
- Swam the 200 IM in 2:01.20 and the 400 IM in 4:17.24
PRIOR TO TENNESSEE
- Carner was a three-time Peninsula District champion at Menchville High School in Newport News, Va., in addition to picking up Eastern Region championships the past two seasons
- Carner also qualified for the 2012 Olympic Trials in the 200m back and the 400 IM
- In 2009, she led Menchville to a perfect 9-0 record and a Peninsula District championship
- A Swimming World Magazine five-star recruit, Carner finished runner-up at the 2011 National Club Swimming Association (NCSA) in the 400y IM
- The Virginia state record holder in the 200y back (1:56.72), she also competes for the Coast Guard Blue Dolphins Swim Team.
