Mark Gossett is in his third year as superintendent of UT's 28-acre, Mack and Jonnie Day Golf Practice Facility.
Gossett manages two fulltime assistants in Jeff Wolfenbarger and Nick Farragut, while also overseeing a student workstaff of six. Many of those students are majoring in UT's Turfgrass Science program, just as Gossett did when he graduated from UT in 1993.
Gossett previously served as longtime assistant superintendent at Eagles Landing Golf Club in Sevierville. He grew up and still lives in Seymour.
