Experienced Nashville-area transfer defensive back who returned to the Volunteer State in 2022 and is in his second season with the program … One of the leaders on defense and a starter at safety after a strong finish to the 2022 season … Reunited with former Ensworth School teammate Andre Turrentine, who also transferred to the Vols in 2022 … Spent his first three seasons playing at Georgia Tech and originally signed with the Yellow Jackets in December 2018 … Played in 46 career games with 25 starts (23/13 at GT, 23/12 at UT) … Including the 2023 season, has two years of remaining eligibility … Accumulated 185 tackles – 112 solo – with 11.0 tackles for loss, two sacks, one interception, 12 pass breakups and three forced fumbles in his career, including his time at Georgia Tech … According to PFF, is the highest graded returning safety in the SEC in 2023 at 77.5.2023 – RS-SENIOR
