KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee soccer is set for its final match of the 2026 regular season on Sunday afternoon, welcoming Oklahoma to Regal Soccer Stadium for a 1 p.m. ET kickoff.
The match will air live on SEC Network+ with Zack Nelson (PxP) and Tori Beeler-Watson (Analyst) on the call.
Admission is free for all regular-season Tennessee soccer matches. For fans planning to attend, note that Tennessee's clear bag policy is in effect again this season. Regal Soccer Stadium is a cashless venue for both concessions and the VolShop this season.
Sunday's match will also be this season's Pups at the Pitch match at Regal Soccer Stadium. All dogs are welcome to attend the match, and small dogs (22 pounds or less) are encouraged to sign up for the halftime dog race here.
Tennessee (6-5-4, 1-5-3) suffered a heartbreaking 2-1 defeat last time out at No. 7 Alabama. The Lady Vols struck first in the opening half, taking a 1-0 lead to the halftime break. A second-half red card saw the Crimson Tide take control and strike twice in the final stanza, coming from behind to hand Tennessee a 2-1 defeat.
Eyes on a Strong Finish: Tennessee will be seeking its first win since Sept. 11 on Sunday afternoon to close the regular season against Oklahoma. A victory would mark two wins in SEC play, pairing with three draws for a final tally of nine points.
Unfortunately for the Lady Vols, while nine points could tie the team for the final spot in the SEC tournament, awarded to the top 12 teams in the league, the set-in-stone tiebreakers mean that Tennessee is already eliminated from SEC tournament contention entering Sunday's match.
Prime Time: Tennessee scored its first goal since Sept. 27, an Ines Derrien strike in a 3-1 defeat to No. 3 Vanderbilt, in the 2-1 defeat to No. 7 Alabama. Sophia Prime found the back of the net in the 18th minute, giving the Lady Vols a 1-0 lead with the first goal of her collegiate career. Prime was making her second career start in the contest.
Ayva Jordan was credited with an assist on the play, as the rebound from her initial long-distance shot set up the header for Prime. It was Jordan's second assist of the season and first point tallied since registering the assist on Tennessee's lone goal against the Commodores.
Prime became the 12th different goal scorer for Tennessee in the 2026 season and the seventh to record her first collegiate goal in the campaign.
Home Finale: In addition to the season finale, Sunday's match with Oklahoma closes the 2026 home slate at Regal Soccer Stadium for Tennessee. Home turf has been kind to the Lady Vols this season, as the team has amassed a 5-2-2 record and recorded all six clean sheets this season at home. Tennessee has outscored opponents 15-5 at Regal Stadium in 2026.
In addition to success on the home field, Lady Vol nation has brought energy to the stands. 2026 saw Tennessee set a new single-match attendance record against Milwaukee (5,489), followed by the second-highest attended match in Regal Soccer Stadium history versus Western Carolina (4,793). The season total attendance of 20,643 and average of 2,294 fans per match are each on track for the second-highest figures in program history.
Steady at the Back: The Tennessee defense has remained stout despite inconsistent offensive output throughout the conference slate. The Lady Vols have allowed less than one goal per match and recorded six clean sheets in 2026.
Additionally, goalkeeper Cayden Norris has been an important presence in recent weeks. She posted a season-high five saves in the 2-1 defeat at No. 7 Alabama, keeping the Lady Vols in the match despite a Shae O'Rourke red card in the 63rd minute.
Tennessee's 0.93 goals-against average in 2026 ranks within the top six in the SEC and top 80 nationally. A key factor to the team's defensive success has been consistency among personnel. Norris, Devin Davis, Milee Zych and Cora Fry have started all 14 matches this season, while Nyla Blue has started all 12 contests she has been available for.
A Look at the Sooners: Oklahoma enters Sunday's regular season finale boasting one of the nation's best offenses. The Sooners rank third in Division I with 51 goals scored this season, an average of 3.00 per match. Heading the front line is Kayla Keefer, who leads Division I with 20 goals this season, three more than any other player in the country.
The high-powered offensive output has led Oklahoma to an 11-4-2 overall record and a 5-4-0 mark in conference play. It's been a streaky campaign as the team went unbeaten in its opening 11 matches followed by a three-match losing streak. The Sooners enter decision day just three points shy of fourth place and are seeking a win to keep their SEC Tournament first-round bye hopes alive.
