BSB PREVIEW: #2 Vols Set to Battle Knights in Midweek Action

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – No. 2/4 Tennessee will look to keep things rolling as they open week 10 of the season with a midweek contest against Bellarmine on Tuesday evening at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.

The Vols are coming off their first series sweep in conference play this season after taking down LSU three times over the weekend to improve to 10-5 in SEC play.
Fans can also park for free in the following lots for Tuesday's baseball game:Â
-Â Lots 65/66 (behind the Vet School) beginning at 4:30 pm.
-Â G17 Terrace Ave Garage (1800 Lake Ave), G12 White Ave Garage (1621 White Ave), Staff/C22 and on-street parking on Volunteer Blvd West from Todd Helton Dr. to Andy Holt.

Single-game tickets for all games can also be purchased through Ticketmaster, the exclusive resale marketplace for Tennessee Athletics, by clicking HERE.
In order to keep Lindsey Nelson Stadium as full as possible, we are encouraging season ticket holders who are unable to use their tickets for a game(s) to transfer your tickets to other Vol fans (Instructions HERE).
If you're a season ticket holder and can't make it to a baseball game this season, you also now have the option to donate your tickets. Your tickets will be donated back to Tennessee Athletics and will be distributed to the military and/or local charities in the Knoxville area.
All ticket donations will be accepted until 5 PM the business day before a game. After donating your tickets a gift receipt equal to the ticket value will be emailed to you. You may save that receipt for your tax records.Â

The Vols enter Tuesday's contest with a 25-2 record at Lindsey Nelson Stadium this season. Their 25 home victories are tied for the most in the country while their .926 winning percentage on Rocky Top this year is good for 13th nationally. UT is also unbeaten in midweek games this season with a spotless 9-0 record. Five of those victories have come by 10 or more runs and Tennessee has outscored its nine midweek opponents by a 101-19 margin.
Home Run Race Heating Up
Entering play this week, Blake Burke and Christian Moore are tied atop the Tennessee record book with 42 career home runs apiece after Burke hit his 12th of the year on Sunday against LSU while Moore went deep twice for his team-leading 14th and 15th round trippers this season in the 8-4 victory over the Tigers. Burke and Moore have both now surpassed the previous record holder, Luc Lipcius, who hit 40 from 2017-22.
Attendance Records Continue to Fall
UT has set a handful attendance records already this season, thanks in large part to the increased capacity of Lindsey Nelson Stadium. The Vols have broken the previous single-game attendance record of 5,086 (5/28/95 vs. Oklahoma State) 14 times already this year, including its top three crowds in program history last weekend vs. LSU (5,901, 6,155 and 6,092).
The Vols also broke their three-game series attendance record for the fifth time during its weekend series sweep over the Tigers with 18,148 fans having attended the games, besting the previous mark of 16,751 during the Ole Miss series (March 22-24).
The Big Orange are on pace to shatter their single-season attendance record this year as they are averaging 5,123 fans per game, which ranks 10th nationally.

Due to the Tyler Childers concert at Food City Center on Tuesday night, the G-16 garage and other lots around the arena will not be available for baseball parking. Fans are encourage to utilize the free shuttles from Tennessee's AG campus. Baseball shuttles will unload at Chamique Holdsclaw Dr. and accessible baseball shuttles will unload at the Volunteer Blvd garage.
