SOFTBALL CENTRAL: #5/6 Lady Vols at Missouri

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- No. 5/6 Tennessee (26-5, 4-2 SEC) travels to Columbia, Mo., this weekend to take on the Missouri Tigers (16-12, 5-4 SEC) in a Sunday through Monday series due to weather in the area on Saturday.
The Lady Vols are coming off a 2-1 weekend after having claimed the series against No. 15/18 Arkansas on Sunday. It's the first time since 2014 that UT has won back-to-back conference series to start the season, having also taken the first two games at then-No. 4 Florida earlier this month.

- Senior Haley Bearden is having a career year as Tennessee's clean-up hitter. She's tallied 25 hits, 23 RBI and a team-leading nine home runs en route to a .347 batting average. Her hits, RBI and homer totals for 2019 alone surpass her previous three season totals combined.
- Senior Aubrey Leach is 18 runs shy of breaking Tennessee's career record for runs scored. She currently has 227 runs scored through 211 games. The record of 244 was set by Raven Chavanne from 2010-13. Leach also sits in third place in career walks with 141. Tonya Callahan (2005-08) holds the record of 154.
- Leach is the NCAA active career leader in runs scored across all divisions with her total of 227. Her 141 walks rank second in Division I.

- Larissa Anderson is in her first season as head coach of the Missouri Tigers. In 2018, Anderson led 24th-ranked Hofstra to a 41-14 record, the CAA Tournament title and the NCAA Columbia Regional.
- Mizzou is coming off a 3-0 sweep of No. 13 Kentucky and owns six wins over ranked opponents entering the weekend.
- Jazmyn Rollin, the team's offensive leader, was named the SEC Freshman of the Week for her performance last week after going 6-for-12 at the plate with six runs scored, five RBI, two home runs and two stolen bases.
