KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Coming off a big series win over South Carolina, No. 23 Tennessee welcomes East Tennessee State to Lindsey Nelson Stadium for a Tuesday night midweek contest at 6 p.m.
Tuesday's contest will kick off a string of five straight games against in-state opponents for the Vols. The Big Orange hit the road for Nashville this weekend to take on No. 4 Vanderbilt before coming home to host Belmont next Tuesday night.

Clear Bag Policy
In an effort to enhance safety and expedite fan entry at Tennessee athletic events, UT has implemented a clear bag policy at Lindsey Nelson Stadium and all other athletic facilities. Only one clear bag no larger than 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches (gallon size) per person is permitted. Fans are also allowed a small clutch purse not exceeding 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches. Gates will open until 90 minutes prior to game time.
Parking
Baseball parking is located in Lots G16, GF2, GF3, GF4, and C22. (Thompson-Boling Arena and Neyland Stadium events have priority if on same days as baseball games.)
Additional parking is located on the street along Todd Helton Drive. Parking for MVP ticket holders is located in Lot GF1 and handicap parking is located in marked handicap spaces on Pat Head Summitt Drive and G16 Garage.

Need to Know
- No. 22 Tennessee went 3-1 last week, earning its first road win of the season on Tuesday at ETSU before taking two of three games at home against No. 24 South Carolina. Â
- The Vols' series win over the Gamecocks was their first SEC series win of the year. It was also the first time UT won a series against South Carolina since 2015. Friday's 15-5 win snapped a nine-game losing streak to the Gamecocks.
- UT's 15 runs on Friday night was the most in an SEC game for the Vols since an 18-2 win over Georgia back on May 21, 2005. The Big Orange also posted a season-high 17 hits in the game.
- Junior center fielder Jay Charleston went 3-for-4 and scored a career-high four runs in Friday's win while sophomore Alerick Soularie went 3-for-3 with a pair of walks, three runs, two doubles and two RBI. Junior catcher Landon Gray hit a triple and a home run, as well.
- Relief pitcher Andrew Schultz continued his dominant season with 2.1 shutout innings on Saturday night. The junior allowed just one hit and one walk while striking out six batters. On the year, Schultz has yet to allow a single run and has given up just two hits while racking up 21 strikeouts in nine innings of work.
- A four-run eighth inning lifted UT to a comeback win in Sunday's series finale against USC. All four runs in the inning were driven in by freshmen (Jake Rucker -2, Connor Pavolony -1, Max Ferguson -1). Pavolony tied the game with an RBI groundout while Rucker had the big hit with a two-run single to give the Vols a 5-3 lead.
- Tennessee's pitching staff enters this week leading the country in team ERA (2.37), WHIP (1.00) and shutouts (six).
- The Vols are 7-0 in midweek games this season and have outscored their opponents by a 58-11 margin. Â
ETSU Buccaneers (17-5, 3-0 SoCon)

- ETSU is having an excellent season under second-year head coach Joe Pennucci. The Bucs are 17-5 after a sweep over Western Carolina to open conference play last weekend and are receiving votes in the USA Today Coaches' Poll.
- The Bucs were picked to finish fourth in the SoCon Preseason Coaches' Poll after a fifth-place finish last season.
- ETSU has seven players with 11 or more RBI this season and enter this week batting .289 as a team. Cullen Smith leads the team with a .350 batting average while Ethan Cady leads the team with five home runs and 21 RBI. Â
- The Bucs have also been solid on the mound and defensively, leading the SoCon with a 1.28 WHIP and a .974 fielding percentage. ETSU's weekend rotation has a perfect 12-0 record so far this season.
- Tennessee is the only team to defeat ETSU on its home field this season. The Bucs enter the week with a 15-1 record at home but are just 2-4 on the road.
