Former Vols Goss, Paisley Finish in Top-10

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Two former Tennessee men's golfers have been performing exceptionally well in the professional ranks. Both Oliver Goss and Chris Paisley finished in the top-10 in their respective events this past week.
Most recently in the Nova Scotia Open of the Web.com tour, Goss finished in a three-way tie for sixth place. Goss carded rounds of 69, 67, 68 and 69, respectively, for a total of 273. The next tournament for the Web.com Tour takes place in Boise, Idaho with the Albertsons Boise Open.
During his time at Tennessee, Goss earned first-team All-SEC honors, All-SEC Freshman Team acclaim, he made back-to-back PING All-Region teams, was a third-team PING All-American, was named a Golfweek third-team All-American and was named to both the Ben Hogan Award Watch List and GolfWorld's Top-50 list.
Goss compiled nine top-10 and five top-25 finishes in 19 total events as a Vol. He posted a career 71.88 scoring average with 26 rounds of par or better.
At the BMW International Open, part of the European PGA Tour, Paisley finished in third place. Shooting 15-under par, Paisley recorded rounds of 69, 67, 66 and 71. He is currently moving into the third round of the Alstom Open de France.
Paisley played for Tennessee from 2005-09. During his time, he served as a team captain, named Ping All-America Honorable Mention and won two collegiate tournaments. As a senior, he led the Vols with a 72.53 scoring average, 15 rounds of par or better and five top-10 finishes.
