Former Vols All-SEC golfer Philip Pettitt finished tied for 15th at the Price Cutter Charity Championship Presented by Dr Pepper. The Price Cutter Charity Championship is part of the PGA's Web.com Tour. Web.com is a developmental tour for the PGA Tour. The tour is a valuable training ground for the PGA's future stars as it provides a great opportunity for players to earn their PGA Tour card.

Over the four days of play, Pettitt shot 71, 64, 69 & 69 to post a 273 (-15). Pettitt's finish was quite impressive considering on Friday he started the day in 102nd place.
