On the first day of November, the men's golf team held a free golf clinic at Concord Park Par 3 for kids in the Knoxville area. Over forty kids participated in the clinic and spent the beautiful fall morning improving their golf skills. The members of the golf team demonstrated their talents by teaching techniques they use during their competitions. After practicing their skills, the kids had a chance to put them to use while they played different holes on the golf course with the UT athletes. Afterwards, the men's golf team signed autographs and took pictures with the participants.

The men's golf team also spent an afternoon this fall volunteering at The Love Kitchen, which is its annual community outreach team service event. Each year the team travels to the kitchen where they spend time as cooks to help prepare food that will be served to the homebound and homeless in the Knoxville area. After putting on their aprons and rolling up their sleeves, the team got busy as they put together hundreds of boxed dinners to be sent out that night. The athletes had a lot of fun adding a little "spice" to the day by practicing their cooking skills in the kitchen. The team showed that you don't even have to be the world's greatest cook to make a different in someone's life by spending time volunteering.
