Vols Conclude Play At Vanderbilt Invitational

The Tennessee men???s tennis team finished up play Saturday at the Vanderbilt capturing two singles and doubles wins.
Chris Racz, ranked 84th in singles, won his second match of the season defeating Louisville???s James McArthur 6-4, 7-5 The UT sophomore finished the weekend with an even 2-2 record in singles. Racz teamed up with Matt Brewer to defeat the Cardinals??? McArthur and Austen Childs 8-3 in doubles.
Brewer had UT???s other singles win of the day defeating Louisville???s David Simon 7-6, 7-6. Brewer, a sophomore but this is his first season as a Vol, went 2-1 at the Invitational.
William Lang and Davey Sandgren combined to defeat Simon Childs and Allejandro Callagari of Louisville 8-4 in doubles. The win was Lang???s, a true-freshman, first of any kind as a Volunteer.
UT returns to action next weekend when it travels to Athens, Ga., for the Southern Intercollegiate Championships.
