Racz Falls at ITA All-American Championships

Tennessee sophomore Chris Racz dropped his first round match to Kaes Van't Hof of Southern California Thursday in the first round of the Main Draw at the Polo Ralph LaurenITA All-American Championships.

Racz, who won the ITA Summer National Championships to gain an automatic bid into the Main Draw, fell to the 43rd-ranked Trojan 6-3, 6-4. Racz, ranked 84th in singles, is tied for the team lead with three singles wins this season.

THREE VOLS?? TO COMPETE IN GEORGIA TECH FALL INVITATIONAL
Matt Brewer, William Lang and Jeremy Tweedt will travel with Associate Head Coach Chris Woodruff to the Georgia Tech Fall Invitational this weekend.

The Vols join SEC teams Auburn, Georgia, Kentucky and Vanderbilt as well as numerous other schools from the Southeast in the three-day tournament.

Tweedt, a freshman from Paris, France, faces Southern Mississippi???s Oscar Machuca in the first round of the Singles ???A??? bracket. Brewer is also playing in the ???A??? bracket and the UTsophomore faces Georgia Southern???s Joris De Weerdt in the first round. Lang is playing in the Singles ???B??? bracket and the Memphis native will face-off against Ben Clos of Louisville in the first round. Lang and Tweedt are also teaming up to play in the Division ???B??? doubles bracket.
