Racz Advances To Consolation Final
October 27, 2007 | Men's Tennis
Tennessee men's tennis player Chris Racz advanced to the singles consolation final Saturday at the Crimson Tide Invitational.
Racz should be well-rested for his match Sunday morning as the Philadelphia native did not even have to step on the court Saturday to advance. Racz's mach against Hanns Spangeburg of UAB was called after Spangeburg withdrew because of illness. The UT sophomore faces James Lemke of Pepperdine in the finals.
Matt Brewer won his first match of the day defeating Diego Machuca of Southern Mississippi 6-4, 4-6, 6-3. Brewer fell in the consolation semifinals to Mississippi State's Max Genuini 1-6, 6-0, 6-3.
