Vol Golf Team to Hold Media Opportunity

The Tennessee men's golf team will hold a media opportunity Thursday, Oct. 16 from 3-4 p.m. at the M.C. James Jr. Driving Range as they prepare to host the 16th annual Coca-Cola Tournament of Champions. Holston Hills Country Club plays host to the event from Oct. 20-21.
Head coach Jim Kelson will be available for interviews, as well as members of the team.
The Vols, who are a two-time tournament champion, look to claim their first title since winning in 2001. The other championship came in 1992. The tournament also includes two other former champions, No. 25 Auburn (1991) and ETSU (1995 and 1996).
Other teams competing include No. 24 Georgia Southern, James Madison, Memphis, Pepperdine, Rice, South Alabama, Southern Mississippi, Tulane, Vanderbilt and Virginia. The first-ever international team makes an appearance in the tournament, as the Swedish National Team is competing.
