Sam Hartmann joined the Tennessee Fund staff in July 2025 as a Development Assistant after completing a year as a FellowVOL Intern with Tennessee Athletics. Through the FellowVOL program, Hartmann gained hands-on experience across multiple areas of the department, including the Tennessee Fund, Fan Experience, Event Management, and HR/Administration.
Hartmann is from Tallahassee, Florida, and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Rollins College (Winter Park, Florida) with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a minor in Data Analytics. While at Rollins, he was a four-year member of the Men’s Lacrosse team and held multiple leadership roles within the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), including President, Vice President, and Community Engagement Chair.
In addition to his FellowVOL experience, Hartmann has worked with the Rollins Athletics communications department, completed three internships with the Orange Bowl, and interned within the FSU Athletics Department. He is eager to begin his career in athletic development and continue building relationships with Tennessee supporters.
