Ally Welch joined the University of Tennessee Sports Medicine Staff in July 2024 as an Intern Athletic Trainer with the Men’s and Women’s Track & Field and Cross-Country teams.
Ally is from Vesta, MN and received a B.S in Exercise Science and a B.A. in Psychology at the University of Sioux Falls. While pursuing her studies at USF she was an esteemed member of the Track and Field team specializing in Throws.
Ally is coming to Tennessee after earning her Master of Athletic Training degree at Texas Christian University. While at TCU she gained experience working with TCU Baseball, Football, Men’s and Women’s Tennis, Triathlon, and Beach Volleyball as well as University of North Texas Football. In addition to this clinical experience, she also gained exposure by interning with the 2x World Champion Las Vegas Aces in the summer of 2023.
