One of Japan's most revered junior players, Kamigata has competed on the international circuit for the last multiple years, playing matches throughout her native Japan, Belgium, France and Turkey during the last year.
In October of 2024, Kamigata earned a spot in the main draw at the 2025 Junior French Open, the flagship clay court juniors championship, contested at the historic Roland Garros grounds. She earned her spot by winning the Roland Garros Juniors Series event in Tokyo, conquering a field of 16 of the most talented young players across Asia.
