- Did not appear in any games for the Vols in 2018

- Graduated from East Hamilton High School, where he was a four-year starter
- 2017 Rawlings-Perfect Game Honorable Mention All-American after batting .405 as a senior
- Perfect Game Underclass High Honorable Mention (2015 & 2016)
- Hit at a .387 clip with 28 RBIs and 14 stolen bases as a junior
- Three-time All-District 5-AAA and All-Region 3-AAA honoree
- Helped lead East Hamilton to win the 2015 Sub-State Championship with a record of 25-13
- Ranked as the No. 13 right handed pitcher and 24th overall player in the state of Tennessee by Perfect Game
- Played travel ball for Team Tennessee, the Georgia Rebels and Exposure Baseball, participating in over 10 showcase and national championship competitions
- Was team captain on the East Hamilton football team and earned Region 4A Quarterback of the Year honors in 2016 while helping the Hurricanes to two Regional Tournament berths
