Bio
2017 - REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE
- Played in 16 games (six starts) for the Vols in 2017, hitting .167 with three runs scored, one RBI and two walks.
- Went 1-for-1 in the series finale against Mizzou on May 20.
- Collected his first career RBI for the Big Orange, driving a hit up the middle to score a runner from third and trim Kentucky's lead to 6-2 (May 13).
- Landed a bunt down the third base line in the Smoky Mountain Challenge vs. ETSU at Smokies Stadium to record his second hit of the season (April 26).
- Made his first career start for the Big Orange behind the plate in Game Two of the Texas A&M series (April 22).
- Made his second appearance behind the plate on April 11 at ETSU.
- Entered the second game at Mississippi State as a catcher, recording five putouts in the outing (March 25).
- Made his first career appearance for Tennessee as a pinch-hitter in the series finale at Memphis, going 1-for-1 with a run scored as part of the 10-0 shutout victory for the Vols.
2016 - CHATTANOOGA STATE CC
- Played 49 games with Chattanooga State in 2016, hitting .412 with seven home runs, 47 runs scored and 52 RBI.
2015 - UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH ALABAMA
- Spent his 2015 redshirt season with the South Alabama Jaguars program and competed over the summer in the Gold Coast Collegiate League (Miami Aces), based out of Miami, Fla.
HIGH SCHOOL
- Lettered in all four years with the St. Brendan High School (Miami, Fla.), helping the Sabres to two consecutive District Championship titles in 2012-13
- Rated as the No. 30 catcher out of the state of Florida during his senior season in 2014
- Hit .393 as a senior at St. Brendan, driving in 19 runs as the school's primary catcher
- Spent time at first base and catcher during his high school career with the Sabres, hitting a career-best .430 with 18 RBI as a junior first baseman with the Sabres
