2016 - FRESHMAN
- Played in 19 games during his debut season at Tennessee, hitting .211 with five runs scored and one RBI.
- Picked up the start at designated hitter vs. Eastern Kentucky and hit 2-for-3 (April 26).
- Was 1-for-3 at the plate vs. #16 East Carolina, helping UT to a 5-2 win at the Keith LeClair Classic in Greenville, N.C. (March 5).
- Went 1-for-3 with his first collegiate RBI in UT's Home Opener vs. Cincinnati (March 2).
- Scored three runs over three games at the Grand Canyon Classic (Feb. 26-28).
- Made his collegiate debut for the Vols in the opening series vs. Memphis, starting all three games at DH, recording two hits and scoring one run (Feb. 19-21).
HIGH SCHOOL
- Four-year letter winner from Kentucky's South Laurel High School, where he helped the team to the State Tournament in three of his four seasons (2012, 2014-15).
- Named Kentucky's Mr. Baseball in 2015 by the Kentucky High School Baseball Coaches Association following his senior season.
- Batted .532 with 15 home runs and 55 RBIs as a senior, while the Cardinals finished 31-6 in 2015.
- Ranked as the No. 2 overall player in the state of Kentucky by Perfect Game, Neal put together a dominating offensive season in 2014, hitting .487 with seven home runs, 37 RBI and 12 stolen bases.
- All-State and All-Region player as a junior and was named the 13th Region (Kentucky) Player of the Year in 2014.
- Earned Third Team All-American accolades from Perfect Game as a sophomore, finishing his campaign with a .412 average, eight home runs and 35 RBI in 2013.
