Tennessee Volleyball Annouces MaryAnn O'Toole as Director of Operations

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Tennessee volleyball head coach Eve Rackham Watt announced Wednesday that MaryAnn O'Toole has joined the program as its new director of operations. O'Toole comes to Tennessee after serving as tournament director at 3Step Sports and played collegiate volleyball at Xavier University and Bellarmine.

Her attention to detail and commitment to creating an efficient, supportive environment will enhance the day-to-day experience for our student-athletes and coaching staff. While at 3Step Sports, O'Toole planned and executed large-scale volleyball tournaments. One of the nation's largest youth sports organizations, 3Step Sports includes more than 2,500 programs and serves more than two million athletes. As tournament director, O'Toole oversaw all aspects of tournament operations, including staffing, facility management and scheduling for multiple teams.
During her collegiate career, O'Toole spent four seasons at Xavier before playing her final season at Bellarmine. In four years with the Musketeers, she totaled 639 kills, 815 digs, 90 blocks and 32 service aces. She earned BIG EAST All-Tournament Team honors in 2022 after helping Xavier advance to the conference tournament semifinals. That season, she recorded a career-high 249 kills and posted 10 matches with double-digit kills. As a freshman, she ranked second on the team with 329 digs. During her Xavier career, O'Toole recorded 24 double-digit kill performances and 13 double-doubles.
O'Toole spent her final collegiate season at Bellarmine, where she totaled 103 kills, 40 digs and 16.0 blocks while earning ASUN Honor Roll recognition. She recorded double-digit kills in six matches, all during conference play.
O'Toole earned her bachelor's degree in Health Services Administration from Xavier in 2023 before completing her Master of Business Administration at Bellarmine in 2025.
