2026 NFL Draft Day Arrives For Tennessee VFLs, Watch Live

PITTSBURGH – Select members of the 2025 Tennessee football team will fulfill a lifelong dream as the 2026 NFL Draft launches professional careers this weekend surrounding Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh.
The first round gets underway at 8 p.m. ET Thursday. Rounds two and three are slated for 7 p.m. Friday, while rounds four through seven begin at noon Saturday. NFL Network, ESPN and ABC will have coverage all weekend. Follow the NFL Draft tracker here.
Tennessee is seeking to produce multiple first round draft selections led by the spectacular play of cornerbacks Jermod McCoy and Colton Hood. Both have appeared in mock first rounds since January, and both shined at the Vols' Pro Day last month.
McCoy missed the 2025 season due to a knee injury he sustained in January 2025. He blazed a 40-yard dash in the 4.3s at Pro Day and illustrated fluid movement in his position workout. McCoy was a first-team All-SEC honoree and an All-American during the Vols' 2024 College Football Playoff season.
Hood, like McCoy, transferred into the program and started one season. The former Colorado transfer became a lockdown corner for UT, earning All-SEC honors while being recognized as a semifinalist for the Thorpe Award. Hood is one of 16 prospects who accepted invitations to attend the NFL Draft in person. He will watch with his family in the green room before making his way on stage.
Friday's rounds could see edge rusher Joshua Josephs and wide receiver Chris Brazzell II come off the board. Josephs is seeking to continue a long list of Vol edge rushers to reach the next level. He racked up 22 tackles for loss and 9.5 sacks in his four seasons.
Brazzell II was the SEC's top receiver in 2025, finishing the year with 62 catches for 1,017 yards and nine touchdowns. He was the conference's only 1,000-yard receiver during the regular season and led the league in touchdowns. The first-team All-SEC recipient and third-team Associated Press All-American is seeking to become the seventh UT receiver selected in the last seven drafts. The Vols have produced 45 wide receiver draftees since the common draft era began in 1967. That mark is tied for third nationally.
Additional Vols seeking to have their names called Saturday during the draft or post draft include defensive linemen Bryson Eason, Tyre West, Dominic Bailey and Jaxson Moi, quarterback Joey Aguilar, tight end Miles Kitselman, defensive backs Jalen McMurray, Andre Turrentine and William Wright and running back Star Thomas.
Tennessee enters the weekend with 391 all-time NFL Draft picks dating back to 1936, which includes the 1967 AFL Draft merger. A total of 17 players in the Josh Heupel era have been drafted (since 2022 NFL Draft). It's the highest four-year span of draft picks for the Vols since 17 went from 2005-08.
