Bebe’s NCAA Lead Rounds Out Successful Big Orange Invite

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – In a light drizzle for Saturday's final event of the home meet, Lady Vol graduate student Myreanna Bebe clocked a lifetime-best of 12.81 seconds in the women's 100-meter hurdles final to earn Tennessee's eighth event title of the day.
With a legal tailwind of +1.8 m/s, the Orlando, Florida, native set the No. 1 wind-legal mark in the NCAA during the 2025 outdoor season. Her time also ranks as the third fastest performer in Lady Vol history.
The Big Orange totaled eight event titles and six outdoor PRs on Saturday to round out its second and final home meet of 2025, positioning the group for a strong postseason that kicks off in two weeks at the SEC Outdoor Championships.
EVENT CROWNS: In total, Tennessee claimed eight event titles on Saturday at the 2025 Big Orange Invite:
In the women's 100-meter hurdles final, senior Kiara Smith finished second and clocked a new season-best of 13.17 seconds that currently ranks 24th in the nation this outdoor season.
MUSIC CITY UPDATE: Tennessee rounded out the weekend of competition at the Music City Challenge in Nashville, earning a pair of top three finishes in the men's and women's 800-meter run. Carter Knox took second on the men's side with a time of 1:48.86, and Ka'Myya Haywood turned in a third place finish for the Lady Vols with her mark of 2:05.35.
Additionally, Jarryn Lowe broke 1:50 for the first time with his personal best time of 1:49.71.
