#5/8 Tennessee Splits Senior Day Meet vs. #7/11 Georgia

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee swimming & diving split meets against Georgia for Senior Day at Allan Jones Intercollegiate Aquatic Center. The fifth-ranked Lady Vols cruised past the No. 11 Bulldogs, 209-91, while the eighth-ranked Vols fell in a tight battle to the No. 7 UGA men, 155-144.
Tennessee fans packed out the AJIAC for an electric day of competition. With 1,215 fans in attendance, this marked the largest home crowd for a dual meet in school history.

Women's Meet Notables

Lady Vol Hot Streak Continues
- The Lady Vols extended their SEC dual meet win streak to six in a row, including three victories this month.
- During their last four dual meets, the Lady Vols have won 54 of 61 events against No. 11 Georgia, No. 15 Alabama, Arkansas and Kentucky.
- Against the Bulldogs, Tennessee took first in 14 of the 16 events.
- McKenzie Siroky led the charge for the Lady Vols creating two new top-10 times in program history while sweeping the breaststroke events. She clocked a 57.80 in the 100 breast, making this the new second-best effort in the event. In the 200 breast, she touched the wall with a time of 2:07.12, securing the fourth-best mark in Lady Vol history.
- In a dominant showing for the group, Tennessee swept the 50 free and 100 free events and posted the fastest time in the 400 free relay.
- When it came to the 50 free, Jordan Crooks placed first (18.44), Gui Caribe took second (19.16), while Nikoli Blackman came in third (19.76).
- During the 100 free, Caribe came out on top with a time of 42.16, Blackman followed at 42.37, while Lamar Taylor (42.89) rounded out the event.
- The quartet of Taylor, Caribe, Blackman and Crooks posted the fourth-best time in program history in the 400 free relay with a joint effort of 2:46.77.

Women's Meet Notables
- The Tennessee women swept two events on the day, posting the top four times in the 200 back and the top three in the 200 fly.
- In total, five different Lady Vols won multiple individual events on the day.
- A close second for top performer was Camille Spink. The sophomore won all three of her individual events and helped the Lady Vol 400 free relay to a victory on the day. She swept the sprint freestyles with times of 21.46 (50 free), 46.94 (100 free) and 1:42.78 (200 free).
- Lynae Shorter swept the springboards. She opened the meet with the win on 3-meter thanks to a 297.45 score. She followed that up later with a 289.58 on 1-meter.
- Josephine Fuller swept the backstroke events. She touched the wall in 50.85 in the 100 back and clocked a 1:52.02 mark in the 200 back. She added a second-place finish in the 200 IM with a time of 1:56.62.
- Sara Stotler swept the butterfly races thanks to a 52.22 time in the 100 fly and a 1:54.19 mark in the 200 fly. She also finished third in the 200 IM (1:57.47).
- The Lady Vols secured the top times in both relays on the day. The 200 medley relay of Josephine Fuller, Sara Stotler, McKenzie Siroky and Amber Myers posted a time of 1:35.69. The 400 free relay went 3:13.46 with a lineup of Camille Spink, Julia Mrozinski, Jillian Crooks and Brooklyn Douthwright.
- Ella Jansen won the 500 free with a time of 4:39.06 and also finished third in the 200 fly (1:54.55) and fourth in the 200 IM (1:57.96).
- Julia Mrozinski took second in a pair of events, clocking a 1:45.08 in the 200 free and a 4:40.94 in the 500 free.
- Maddie Reese posted a pair of top-3 finishes in diving. She took second on 1-meter (262.43), completing a 1-2 finish for the Lady Vols in the event, and she placed third on 3-meter (259.65)
- Bennett Greene swept the men's springboards, as he secured the number one spot in the 1-meter (354.90) and 3-meter (387.00) competitions.
- The 200 medley relay of Lamar Taylor, Kevin Houseman, Gui Caribe and Jordan Crooks notched the fourth-fastest time in school history, touching the wall in 1:21.90. Crooks posted a 17.66 split for his 50 free anchor.
- Kevin Houseman won the 100 breast with a time of 52.76, while Jed Garner took first in the 200 breast with a mark of 1:56.62. Garner also finished third in the 100 breast (53.26).
- Nick Stone posted a pair of third-place finishes in diving, notching a 337.65 effort on 1-meter and a mark of 347.48 on 3-meter.
