February 19, 2019 | Softball
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Due to impending weather, Tennessee softball's midweek game at ETSU has been postponed until Tuesday, April 16. The time will be announced at a later date.
The Lady Vols will be back in action this weekend as they welcome Kansas, Virginia, Bradley, Louisville and Tennessee State to Sherri Parker Lee Stadium for the Tennessee Classic (2/22-24). All Tennessee games will feature a live radio broadcast on UTSports.com and the UT Gameday App. The games will also be available for viewing on SECN+/WatchESPN App.
Last weekend, UT was led by dominant performances from Chelsea Seggern, Amanda Ayala and Aubrey Leach at the plate as the starters batted over .400. On the mound, all three of the Big Orange's pitchers collected wins and threw at least 10 strikeouts while facing opponents who were ranked or received votes in Week 1 polls.Â
