KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The undefeated Tennessee soccer team hosts Kentucky on Sunday to open Southeastern Conference play.
The Vols (8-0-0) kick off against the Wildcats (4-4-0) at 6 p.m. Eastern at Regal Soccer Stadium. Admission and parking is free. The game will be televised nationally on ESPNU.
Tennessee is off to its best start in history and looks to tie the program's longest winning streak of nine matches Sunday.Â
Promotions: Sunday will be International Soccer Night, and the first 100 people wearing an international soccer jersey will get a slice of pizza. Before the game from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., vouchers will be distributed for half off chicken baskets at the concession stand. It's also another soccer sundae, where the first 100 kids receive a voucher for a scoop of ice cream.

LAST WEEK
- The Lady Vols wrapped up non-conference play last week with a 1-0 victory at Bucknell and a 3-1 home win over Virginia Tech.
- Tennessee is climbing closer to the top 25. The Vols received 30 votes in the United Coaches poll, placing them 27th.
- Anna Bialczak provided the second-half game winner over Bucknell, giving the Vols a win in their first meeting with the Bison.
- Mary Alice Vignola, making her first start at forward this season after opening the year on defense, recorded a header in the second minute in the 3-1 win over Virginia Tech.
- Katie Cousins was named to Top Drawer Soccer's Team of the Week. She scored her first goal of the season against Virginia Tech.
