Blankenship Takes 4th at Kentucky Relays

LEXINGTON, Ky. -- Tennessee senior Jake Blankenship took fourth place in the men's pole vault at the Kentucky Relays on Saturday.
Blankenship, who already recorded an Olympic A Standard and U.S. Trials qualifying mark of 5.72 meters (18-9.25) during the indoor season, cleared 5.10 meters (16-8.75) at UK Outdoor Track and Field Complex.
Tennessee heads to Tuscaloosa, Ala., next week to compete in the 2016 SEC Outdoor Track and Field Championships from May 12-14 at Sam Bailey Stadium.
