Vols Conclude Round Two Play

ORLANDO, Fla. --The Vols ended round two of the Annika Intercollegiate with a score of 288 (E), bringing the team's 36 hole total to 572 (-4). Anna Newell led Tennessee in the second round with a two-under par outing. Newell improved one place in the player rankings, moving from an eighth place tie into a tie for seventh place.
Freshman Shannon Brooks moved up three spots into a tie for 17th place (-2). Brooks duplicated her round one score of 71. Emmie Pietila carded a 74, bringing her two day total to 145. Pietila concluded the day in a seven-way tie for 29th place (+1).
Blakesly Warren ended the round with a score of 74 (+2) and Lucia Polo shot one-over (73).
