Women's Golf Ranked 15 in Preseason Top 30

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. --The Tennessee women's golf team enters the 2015-2016 season ranked 15th in Ringler's preseason top 30.
The Volunteers return six players from last year's squad, including four players who helped lead the team to a fifth place tie at the NCAA Championship.
Among Tennessee's returning players are juniors Lucia Polo, Hannah Pietila, Teleri Hughes and Emmie Pietila and sophomores Blakesly Warren and Anna Newell. The Vols welcome two newcomers to the team: freshmen Allison Herring and Shannon Brooks. The team will be coached by Judi Pavon, who enters her 16th year at the helm of the program, assistant coach Mandy Moore and volunteer assistant coach Luis Pavon.
Tennessee opens the 2015-2016 season on Sept. 8 in Atlanta, Ga., at the Cardinal Kick Off.
