TENNESSEE ROWING
- To continue official competition, Tennessee will travel to Clemson, S.C. to race in the third annual Clemson Invitational.
- Last season at the Clemson Invitational, the Lady Vols brought home one bronze medal in the 2V8+.
- At the San Diego Crew Classic, Tennessee raced in the Grand Final in the Varsity Eight placing fourth, finished first in the Varsity Four Petite Final and third in the Second Varsity Eight Petite Final.
- To open spring competition, the Big Orange raced in the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational finishing the first day placing third in seven of eight races and a weekend-best second place finish in the second varsity eight on Sunday.
- The Lady Vols had a strong and successful fall season bringing home 19 medals from three regattas, the Chattanooga Head Race, the Secret City Head Race and the Head of the Hooch.
- This was second year in a row Tennessee has began its spring season with exhibition races against Michigan and Central Florida in Orlando. Although no times were recorded, the Lady Vols had a strong showing against the Knights and the Wolverines in 2014, winning 14 out of 15 pieces in fours during the exhibition workout.
- To close out the 2013-14 season, the Big Orange was narrowly edged by Oklahoma at the Conference USA Championship. Tennessee's second varsity eight brought home the gold medal in the grand final.

2015 ClEMSON INVITATIONAL
- Tennessee is scheduled to race in twelve races at the Clemson Invitational, racing in the Varsity Eight, the Second Varsity Eight, the Varsity Four and the Third Varsity Eight. All races are subject to change.
- To begin the weekend, Tennessee will race in the V8+ in lane six at 8:14 a.m. against Bucknell, Oregon State, Clemson, Washington State, Texas and Minnesota. At 8:38 a.m., the Lady Vols' 2V8+ will race in lane zero. In the V4+, Tennessee will take to the water at 9:02 a.m. in lane one. To close out the first session of races, UT's 3V8+ will race in lane four at 9:43 a.m.
- In Saturday's second session, Tennessee will race at 5:37 p.m. in the 3V8+ against Syracuse, Washington State, Ohio State and Louisville in lane five. The Lady Vols' V4+ will race at 6:18 in lane five, the 2V8+ at 6:42 p.m. in lane five and Tennessee's V8+ will close out Saturday at 7:06 p.m. in lane one.
- On Sunday, Tennessee will open with the V8+ in lane six against Clemson, UCLA, Louisville, Cornell, Ohio State and Michigan State at 8:14 a.m., the 2V8+ is scheduled to race at 8:38 a.m. in lane zero, the V4+ at 9:02 also in lane zero and to close out the Clemson Invitational, UT's 3V8+ will race at 9:43 a.m. in lane two.
UP NEXT
- Tennessee will break from racing for one week before its next scheduled competition on Melton Hill Lake in Oak Ridge on May 2 against Iowa and Central Florida.
