- This is the 10th straight year that Tennessee has gone on the road at the end of the regular season and spoiled an SEC opponent's home finale.

FEARLESS ALONG THE FRONT LINE
- Despite facing an LSU frontcourt that features a pair of projected NBA Draft picks in sophomores Jordan Mickey and Jarell Martin, the smaller Vols out-rebounded the Tigers 35-29.
- The Vols fought their way to 13 offensive rebounds and also outscored the Tigers 36-20 in the paint.
- Tennessee junior forwards Armani Moore and Derek Reese combined for 23 points, 17 rebounds and four blocks.
MOORE'S HOT STREAK CONTINUES
- Junior forward Armani Moore tied his career-high with 19 points tonight on 9-of -14 shooting.
- The Kennesaw, Ga., native scored 18 points Saturday at Florida, and he now is averaging 12.0 points per game in SEC play.
- Moore grabbed eight rebounds tonight, marking the ninth time he has totaled at least eight rebounds in SEC play this season.
- Moore also drew his team-leading seventh charge of the season. It was UT's 25th charge drawn on the year.
RICHARDSON'S LAST RIDE
- In the final regular-season true road game of his Tennessee career, All-SEC candidate Josh Richardson led the Vols with 20 points./li>
- Richardson now has nine 20-point games in his career, including six this season.
- Richardson leads Tennessee in scoring with 15.7 points per game.
- In SEC play, Richardson averages a team-high 15.1 ppg.
FIRST HALF FIGHT
- Tennessee out-rebounded the larger LSU lineup 22-15 in the first half.
- The Vols pulled down 11 offensive boards in the first half, while limiting the Tigers to just four.
- For just the second time all season, the Vols were tied at halftime (33-33). Tennessee also was tied at the half with Texas Southern Nov. 20 (tied 30-30, UT won 70-58).
