INSIDE THE SERIES

FOR STARTERS

Tennessee Starters: Josh Richardson, Kevin Punter, Robert Hubbs III, Armani Moore and Tariq Owens.
It was the 100th career start for Richardson.
It was the same lineup as the Vols used Tuesday against Mississippi State. It was Owens' third career start.
First basket: Hubbs made a pair of free throws, and Moore followed with a pair of layups. The Vols scored the first six points of the game.
First sub: Willie Carmichael III (18:03).

HALFTIME NOTES

Georgia led at halftime 29-22 on 11-of-13 shooting (61.1 percent). The Vols were 9-of-28 from the field (32.1 percent).
Robert Hubbs III paced the Vols with 8 points. He and Armani Moore led UT with three rebounds each.
Tennessee forced 11 turnovers.

DOUBLE DIGITS

Armani Moore led the Vols with 16 points on 6 of 13 shooting, including a 3-pointer.
It is the third time in SEC play that he has scored at least 15 points. It is the fifth time this year he has led the team in scoring.
Robert Hubbs III was not far behind, scoring 15 points and leading the Vols with six rebounds.
Hubbs has scored at least 15 points in three SEC games this season.
Josh Richardson, who scored 30 points on Tuesday vs. Mississippi State, was 0-for-11 from the floor and scored his first points of the game with a layup with 30 seconds remaining to cut the least ot 55-52.

REBOUNDING/TURNOVER DIFFERENTIAL

Georgia outrebounded the Vols 31-21 with six Bulldogs having at least four rebounds.
Tennessee kept pace thanks to some strong defense. The Vols forced 20 turnovers in the game and turned that into 20 points on the other end.
The Vols had eight turnovers themselves.
Kevin Punter had a career-high six steals. Josh Richardson had four.
