- Donnie Tyndall is now 8-5 in his head coaching career in overtime games.
- The last overtime game between Tennessee and Vanderbilt was on March 2, 1993. Vanderbilt won that meeting 90-82.
RICHARDSON'S CHART CLIMBING
- With 27 points scored Wednesday, Josh Richardson passed Cam Tatum (2007-12; 1,083 points) and Terry Crosby (1975-79; 1,096 points) into 42nd place on the Vols' career scoring list. He now has 1,109 points.
- Former teammate Jarnell Stokes is next on the list with 1,129 points scored between 2011-14.
- Richardson has scored at least 20 points in four games this season, three times coming during SEC play.
- The 27 points is the second-most points scored by Richardson this year. He posted a career high of 30 against Mississippi State two games ago on Feb. 3.
DOUBLE DIGITS
- Four Vols finished with at least 10 points: Richardson (27), Armani Moore (13), Derek Reese (12) and Kevin Punter (10).
- Coming off the bench, Reese matched his career high with 12 points on 5 of 6 shooting. It was his fourth double-digit scoring game of the season.
- Reese led the Vols with eight rebounds. Richardson and Hubbs had seven each.
FOR STARTERS
- Tennessee's starters: Josh Richardson, Kevin Punter, Robert Hubbs III, Armani Moore, Willie Carmichael III.
- It was Carmichael's first start since Jan. 10 against Alabama.
- First basket: Robert Hubbs III hit an opener 3-pointer on a pass from Kevin Punter in the Vols' first possession (19:19).

AT THE HALF
- Behind 12 points by Josh Richardson, the Vols led 35-32 at halftime.
- Vanderbilt made its first five 3-pointers of the game and finished the half shooting 5-for-9. The Vols were also 5-of-9 from 3-point range, with Richardson going 2-of-3.
