KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- The entire Tennessee track and field and cross country coaching staff accepted the Ice Bucket Challenge for ALS research on Thursday.
Head coach Beth Alford-Sullivan accepted the challenge from Director of Athletics Dave Hart in honor of her grandmother who passed away from ALS. Sullivan and her staff then offered a series of challenges to UT Associate Athletic Director/SWA Donna Thomas, as well as athletic trainer Abe Kiggins and VFL Aries Merritt -- the world record holder in the 110 meter hurdles.
